Unfortunately we have two cancellations for KEEP IT TRUE in April 2023, but we can present replacements immediately.
Unfortunately, SANCTUARY have to cancel their gig at KIT 2023 because the daughter of original guitarist Lenny Rutledge recently passed away and Lenny has to take care of his family and himself first. We would like to express our deepest condolences to Lenny and his family. Here is the official text we received from their management.
“The daughter of Lenny Rutledge has recently passed away, and his attention and focus need to be with his family during this difficult time. Due to this unfortunate news, Sanctuary is canceling their scheduled appearance at KIT 2023. We apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused for the festival and our fans. We appreciate your understanding during this time.” - Sanctuary management
As a replacement, we can present you one of the finest US Melodic Metal bands with FIFTH ANGEL. The band will release their new album in May and have agreed to stand in for Sanctuary at short notice.
Unfortunately, CRUSH also have to cancel due to serious health problems of a band member. We send our well wishes to Greece and hope to catch up on the show one day.
As a replacement, the Swedish cult Thrash Band MEZZROW will play their very first show in Germany and also release their comeback album "Summon Thy Demons" after 30 years on Fireflash Records exactly on the KIT weekend.
Just to confirm again. The tickets purchased for Friday and Saturday of 2019/2020 will of course remain valid, same goes for the additionally purchased tickets for Thursday.
